We are delighted to invite you to the South Show at the St Martin’s Community Centre on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 August 2012. We are hoping that with your support, this will be our best year ever!!
We’re hard at work putting together another great show for everyone to enjoy. Why not take a leisurely wander around the many fruit, vegetable, flower, baking and craft entries or perhaps enter the fancy dress competition, have your face painted or bag some bargains at the bric-a-brac stall. Go on, be brave, enter your tasty toms or your delightful dahlias – you never know, you may walk off with a trophy!! Remember – you need to become a member to enter! Don’t forget the Island Flower Show which takes place at St Martin’s Parish Hall on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June 2012 and also the Private Garden Competition which is to be judged on Friday 20 July 2012 – both competitions are open to the whole island so spread the word! Last year we had the wonderful support of our main sponsors, Vets4Pets and their increasingly popular dog show saw many fine canines ‘strutting their stuff’ with their proud owners! Start thinking about your outfit for the Fancy Dress competition and don’t forget about the new Hat Parade which last year saw some ingenious homemade millinery creations!!
